On Wednesday 13th March, we were invited to present a donation of EUR 1,700.-- to the 'Kinderkrebshilfe Tirol & Vorarlberg' in Innsbruck.
This was the last stage of our Creativity Activity Service (CAS) project, as part of our IB Diploma Programme at the International School Kufstein Tirol. We had baked and sold cakes during four events at school, including the Christmas Concert, and were able to raise this fantastic sum of money.
Ms Mattersberger, the chairperson of the charitable organisation, met us in person and showed us around the hospital ward, where children with cancer are cared for. It was a heartwarming experience and we were delighted to be able to support this cause, which is very close to our hearts.
