The International School Kufstein Tirol (ISK) is delighted to announce the expansion of its faclities on the campus in the center of Kufstein. From September 2024, the school will provide a future-oriented education in a state-of-the-art learning environment for over 330 students in 16 classes.
The IB World School has reached the limits of its capacity with its existing premises. In order to meet the increasing demand, additional space was urgently needed. Following an intensive planning and construction phase, a new, inspiring learning environment for young people will be offered in the immediate vicinity of the current school building.
The “Centre of Art and Science” in the “Gallhaus” extends over two levels and contains specialized classrooms for “Visual Arts/Design”, “Music” and “Theatre” as well as a biology lab. There is also a multi-purpose room, including a bouldering wall, which is also available to the Music School for dance lessons and ÖH sports outside of school hours.
“This also secures the successful development of the International School Kufstein Tirol in terms of space. We would like to thank everyone involved, first and foremost the city of Kufstein, the state of Tyrol and the federal government for their support,” said the representatives of the governing body, FH Kufstein Tirol-Privatstiftung, Dr. Herbert Marschitz, DDr. Herwig van Staa and Franz Mayer.
