As an IB World School, the International School Kufstein Tirol attaches great importance to a comprehensive, holistic education. Numerous teachers
have an international background (USA, Brazil, Australia, Philippines, Israel, England, Ireland, Netherlands, Italy) and bring with them a wide range of experience.
Carlos Jr. Enriquez, BS Mathematics (Head of Lower School) has found a second home in Kufstein.
The Philippines, my country of birth, are for me…
a country of people who have strong familial bonds and an even stronger resolve in times of hardships. We are very welcoming of other people from
different cultures and our idea of fun involves karaoke. It is also deeply ingrained in us to genuinely care for others.
At the International School Kufstein I am responsible for...
ensuring that our students thrive in a safe and dynamic environment that is conducive for learning and holistic growth. I also share the responsibility of promoting the aims of our school and of the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). This entails striving to develop in our students the attributes that promote lifelong learning, international mindedness and global citizenship.
More than the academic rigour, we empower our students to undertake meaningful projects that positively contribute to the community.
What I particularly like about Kufstein…
is that it is small in size, but big in progress. The international presence is growing, but its rich traditions remain to this day. Every single guest that has visited me from the Philippines cannot help but fall in love too with the regular cultural events in the city amidst the grandeur of nature.
