Over the next few months, International School Kufstein Tirol will be involved in a strategic, EU-funded project in the Bavaria-Tyrol Euregio region. The project "Bildungsstandort Euregio Inntal" was approved by the Euregio committee on April 30.
Innovations.Raum Kufstein is the lead partner, the project partners are the city and district of Rosenheim, the district of Traunstein and the International School Kufstein Tirol.
- The first goal of the project partners is to create a cross-border, digital "education map", in which providers of education and training courses are presented. The target group is providers of courses aged 14 and over.
- This map will then be presented and further developed at a joint cooperation meeting/workshop in the Euregio region. This event should also enable participants to exchange ideas in a structured form (themed tables). Educational institutions and representatives of public authorities as well as representatives from firms will be invited.
Designed as a "people-to-people project", the project also aims to launch further initiatives after the end of the project period.
The management of ISK Tirol is looking forward to being able to help shape another milestone in strengthening the region in the important future topic of "education".
