The International School Kufstein Tirol is involved in a strategic, EU-funded project in the Bavaria-Tyrol Euregio region. The project ‘Bildungsstandort Euregio Inntal’ was approved by the Euregio committee.
The "Innovationsraum Kufstein" is the lead partner, with the city and district of Rosenheim, the district of Traunstein and the International School Kufstein Tirol as project partners.
- The first goal of the project partners was the creation of a cross-border, digital ‘education map’, in which providers of training and further education offers are presented. The target group are providers of programmes from the age of 14. Link: Startseite - Bildungslandkarte
- This map was presented and further developed in mid-January 2025 at a joint cooperation meeting with workshops at the Forum Chiemgau in Traunstein. The purpose of this event was to enable participants to exchange ideas in a structured form (themed tables). Around 40 educational institutions were very committed and active participants.
Designed as a ‘people-to-people project’, the programme also aims to launch further initiatives after the end of the project period.
The management of ISK Tirol is delighted to have been able to help shape another milestone in strengthening the region in the important future topic of education.
