On 23 January 2025, the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol and the International School Kufstein Tirol welcomed the Federal Minister of Education, Science and Research Ao. Prof. Dr Martin Polaschek to the campus.
Current challenges and future prospects in the education sector were a key topic. He was particularly impressed by the international orientation of both institutions and the focus on intercultural learning.
In a subsequent round of talks with the management of the UAS and ISK, Polaschek emphasised the importance of such educational programmes for the Austrian educational landscape and praised the commitment to high-quality education and close cooperation with regional and international partners.
