International education combined with a modern learning environment

At the ISK Tirol campus

We create the best possible environment for students to learn with motivation and enthusiasm. ISK Tirol enjoys the unique position of being integrated into the campus of the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol, in the middle of the Tyrolean mountains, right in the heart of the city. The opportunities and shared synergies are used in a variety of ways.

Buildings &
Infrastructure

The students will benefit from a very modern learning environment in the newly built third phase of the campus of the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein, inaugurated in October 2013. The classrooms and the administrative offices of the school are located on the 3rd floor of the building. Newly equipped laboratories for the science subjects are located on the ground floor and on the 1st floor.

Additionally, the gym, located on the ground floor, provides opportunities for a large range of sports and exercise activities.

In September 2024, the campus was expanded to include the “Center of Art & Science” in the immediate vicinity of the main wing. It houses specialist classrooms for music, visual arts, design and science as well as a gym with a boulder wall.

In addition, students can use a number of the facilities belonging to the University of Applied Sciences, the music school and the city of Kufstein, e.g. the cafeteria, library, service center and the "Theatre" in the Kulturquartier.

Cafeteria

An important component and a service that is much appreciated by parents is the daily lunch for students in the FH diner, which is located in Building B. The bistro/cafe-style premises provide comfortable seating for the students.

The menu ranges from coffee specialties and small cold snacks to freshly prepared lunches every day. The seasonally fresh salad buffet offers crisp, fresh salads in the spirit of a vitamin-rich, healthy diet. Great importance is attached to sustainability, the regional origin of the products and resource-saving logistics. The majority of the products used are sourced directly from the region - for the sake of local companies, quality and, last but not least, the environment.

A “healthy snack” with various types of fruit is offered for lunch.

Library

The library of the University of Applied Sciences can also be used by ISK Tirol students. The library stock comprises of 20.000 Books, over 160.000 E-Books, 89 print- and nearly 30.000 academic journals. This includes books from the fields of business and economy, sociology, the humanities, art and culture. Teaching and learning aids and material are also available.

The library also offers monthly and weekly magazines such as Profil, Datum and The Economist, language learning magazines such as Ecos, Ecoute or Ecolex and Austrian, German and international daily newspapers. The library also offers the opportunity for inter-library loans from other universities.

An IB World School at a location with an international university of applied sciences - this unique concept works. The young people can benefit sustainably from the numerous synergies on campus.
