Tuition Fees & Costs

„ISK Tirol is open to all students regardless of their social, cultural or religious background“

Admission to the private International School Kufstein Tirol entails the payment of tuition fees and additional costs. As a school without social boundaries we are committed to offer all motivated and interested young people the chance to attend ISK Tirol. Under certain circumstances ISK Tirol offers a reduction in tuition fees based on the financial situation of the family and provides scholarships to students whose parents could not otherwise afford to send their children to our school.

Thanks to the very unique integration of the school into the campus of the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein, the financial support provided by the province of the Tyrol, the city of Kufstein and sponsors and supporters, we can offer this international, comprehensive and standardized educational programme at the costs stated below.

The ISK Tirol is a "non-profit school". All proceeds are used to develop the school for the benefit of the ISK students and the school community and to make the IB World School a meeting place for responsible citizens of the world in a modern learning environment.

School tuition includes the educational expenses as well as a daily lunch (and a healthy snack of fruit during the morning).

The tuition fees are payable in one lump sum at the beginning of the school year, quarterly by SEPA mandate or in 12 monthly instalments and shall be escalated to match inflation based on the Consumer Price Index published by Statistics Austria. More details will be found in the Education Agreement.

It is possible to deregister from lunch in the upper school. The school fees are thus reduced by € 105,00 per month / € 1.260,00 per year.

Information on the reduction in tuition fees and the relevant application form are available under Financial Support. Depending on your annual net income, this support can reduce your school fees by up to 65%. A detailed calculation can be made on the basis of the completed application form. There is also a discount for siblings at ISK Tirol (25 % for each additional child).

Additional Fees and Costs

Entrance fee (Lower and Upper Secondary School, one-off payment): € 350 (payment due upon signing the educational contract and after successfully completing the admission process)
Although ISK Tirol makes a large effort to find sponsors for additional activities and services, additional costs that are common to all (IB) Schools occur in the course of the year:

- Special learning materials and learning aids

- Excursions and field trips

- Extra-curricular activities

- Upper Secondary School: IB Examination Fees (charged by the IBO)

Transport costs: Transport to and from the school is free for students who are permanent residents in Austria. Some families may be eligible to certain tax benefits or state grants.
